Arround the year 1860, during the extension of the city, the market was moved to the place "Lala Achou", named after a holy woman. The market is located on the outskirts of the Ksar and it is tiangular in shape.
The biggest feature of this place is the auction sale held just after the daily prayer of "Aasr" except Friday. Business transactions are conducted under the watchful eye of members of the assembly of "Azzaba". Photos taken before the Aasr prayer, the market is closed at that time which was a good opportunity to admire the local architecture.
